Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Remove contents from the plastic container that require reheating and place into an ovenproof dish. Place in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. If the meal is frozen, defrost prior to heating. Alternatively, you can wrap the protein in foil to retain moisture and prevent any dryness that may occur from being heated in the oven.
Remove the plastic lid and place the plastic container in the microwave. Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes. If frozen, add an additional 1-2 minutes.
Reheating Fish – Due to the delicate nature of fish this should be separated from the meal and reheated on its own. Microwave for 20 seconds with power on 30% or 40 %. This will differ depending on the age and wattage of the microwave being used. Check the fish for temperature and continue to heat in 10 seconds bursts, again at no more than 40% power setting until the desired temperature is reached.
Reheating Chicken – Our chicken comes fully cooked and to ensure reheating does not dry the chicken out we advise you should separate the chicken from the meal and reheat on its own. Microwave for 20 seconds with power on 30% or 40%. This will differ depending on the age and wattage of the microwave being used. Check the chicken for temperature and continue to in 10 seconds bursts again at no more than 40% power setting until the desired temperature is reached.
Carefully remove from the oven/microwave, put it on your favorite plate, remove the lid from sauce container and add to your meal, then enjoy.
*Please note, sauce container is not microwave proof.
All meals should be reheated to a minimum internal temperature of 75 degree Celsius. For an accurate reading, use an internal thermometer. If the meal has not reached an internal temperature of 75 degrees Celsius after following the instructions, continue to cook until it is appropriately heated.
If you would like to heat the protein component of salad meals, remove protein (i.e. chicken breast) and heat as per above instructions.
All our food containers can be re-used and /or recycled.
